I have a background in journalism and have been a section editor at Time Out London, and written for the Telegraph Group, The Guardian as well as numerous magazines and periodicals.

I love what I do. Storytelling isn’t just about putting the best words in the right order, it’s about making a connection and making people pause and take notice. I’ll email you a simple spec sheet so I can get a feel for your project, once you’ve completed that we’ll meet (Zoom or real world) to discuss your requirements in full. I generally work out of house but am very happy to work in-house as well.

TONE OF VOICE & COPYWRITING

I worked with the agency director to write catalogue copy for a exhibition of his artwork. The process comprised reviewing the work and interviewing the designer to develop a clear tone of voice before writing an introduction, biography and captions for the 20-page booklet.

STRATEGY

As in-house Head of Content and Digital Marketing I oversaw a major overhaul of the website, reducing copy, making it user friendly and optimising it for search. Metrics and search ratings improved, and subsequently wins. I also rewrote the content strategy, established a newsletter, blog, social media presence, and strengthened PR.
